The Severed Floor

Mark tells Heli he can't watch or leave, but she can go on through the door at the end of the hall. As soon as she comes through the door and crosses the threshold, she reverts to the innie. The seeming under use of much of the severed floor is a mystery. Are they expanding? Or was the severed program once larger and it's being reduced? It does seem like James Egan's intent is to increase the severed workforce,. But you gotta ask why? Mark and Heli hit a turn in the hallway. We get a shot looking back at her. Another cut, and we can see she's looking out at a set of open tread fire stairs
