When Joshua was a child, his father put him in the back seat of their car. His parents were fighting and he watched through tears as they fought over him. Forty-four years later during a visit to Alaskan dad brought up that incident. He said: "I'm still angry at you for that Joshua." The words pressed down on Josh with a near otherworldly significance.
