Natasha Lennard: Jane’s Revenge and Reproductive Rights After Roe

Red Medicine

CHAPTER

Introduction

Red Medicine is a podcast about radical politics, medical anthropology and the sociology of science. In this episode I'll be speaking with Natasha Leonard about the story of reproductive rights activists who are being charged under a law intended to protect abortion clinics. She explains why it's important to consider the undermining of abortion access alongside the increasing attacks on the rights of trans and gender nonconforming people. Finally, I'd like to invite everyone listening to join Red Medicine for an out of readings and discussion at the Horse Hospital in London on May 25th. There will be readings by Amber Hussein, Matt Colhoon and Misha Fraser Carroll on the topic of illness as well as other topics.
