Cambridge English at IELTS.org publishes a list of descriptors for each band score. These describe what the different bands mean in terms of specific speaking skills. We're going to look at them all in a moment on a PDF from the IELTS website. If there's no English to be assessed, then I think you get nothing. So how do IELTS examiners assess your spoken English?
