The Role of Poetry in My Life
Tim Ferris: I always liked spoken word poetry. It was kind of being like a hip hop fan. The first one I ever wrote was called Pomegranate Juice. And it was about this idea of me standing on a roadside in Lahore in Pakistan, looking down at this pomegranate juice and the thoughts I had in my head. He says he started writing for fun after moving to the U.S., but soon realized there's something here that really wants to be said.
