The Third Party Who Was Dealed a Blow by God in Order to Let Us Off the Hook

The Trinity is acting all as one. God is dying there. There are three persons here. Jesus is not some victim being sacrificed by a sadistic father. He and the Father and the Spirit are doing this together from the beginning of all creation. It's just really pathetically sad that we ever got into this thinking.
