The Philosophical Disputation, Containing a Distinct Idea of Those Things That Relate to the Living and Organic Body

All three of Amo's extant works were written in the 1730s. Two were disrotations on a relationship between the mind and the body, presented at Wittenberg. The third was a treatise on philosophical method published in Halle in 1738. It is a form of writing that recalls the procedures of medieval scholastic philosophy. But it's clear that things have moved on from medieval philosophical discourse.
