The distance between birth of the universe and now is about ten times greater than between now and extinction of life on earth. iv wondered if you could tell us a little bit about how you grapple with that, and how that affects your view on cataclysmic events such as climate change. I didn't really think of it like that, but only in retrospect. Sometimes a story is richer if you already know the ending. This is why you tend to keep not to keep thrillers around unless it's a particularly good one.
