The model that we're using does three things. It's looking at how do deer vehicle collisions change when wolves enter a county. We also compare these changes to what's happening with other types of collisions, collisions that are not caused by deer. That helps us control for broader changes in vehicle and roadway safety that might be happening at the same time.
