The Importance of Criticism of the Status Quo
Facebook has actually been advocating for a federal privacy law. There is a federal, you know, preemption in the law that prevents a patchwork of 50 different laws across the US. The debate we're having about Mark Zuckerberg is just not in the same category. But I do think it's important that critics of the status quo have maybe their own framework for how we should all think about digital technology and privacy broadly.
