The Integration of Ego State
If you have an ego state of your childhood self at one level, then freeing them from that state is akin to rescuing your inner child. The positive elements of a child like nature can be more present with you in reality in the current time. And it's a place of light and love that they're in now. That's not where they were. They were they did they speak to us from behind our eyes. So when ego states integrate, they're all there still as individuals, but now ones integrated with the conscious self.
