The Death of Joseph and Catherine Majo

Joseph and Catherine Majo had their throat slashed by a straight razor, then their heads were bashed in with an ax. Police quickly ruled out robbery as a motive because there was money along with other valuables left in plain sight by the intruder. The murder weapon belonged to Joseph Majo's brother Andrew, who worked at a barbershop. One of Andrew's employees told police that Andrew Majo had removed the razor from the shop two days prior to the murder,. saying he wanted to have a nick honed from the blade.
