I Love That Idea From You, Dora Welty
The last word that you wrote is somehow like the sigot for the next word. I love that idea from Dora welty, it's almost like embryonic. Write sentence by sentence. Ye, am, quoting all the southern writers, i think it's falkner who said, You write the second novel to correct what you weren'tabled to do in the first. And i think there's something of that too, moving the language forward. This sentence. Now, how about this again? That sort of incangatory moving towards meaning and through language.
