When people don't leave, if you wanted to use like a magical metaphor, it's like the spell is getting cooked overnight. So for me, it's really important that we have a residential gathering,. after a few days, there is the sense of lik you've entered a parallel reality. And even remembering that there's another reality is kind of confronting. The abbey has 14 centuries of contemplative christianity, and they've been building peace. There's something to respect there. Am, so i think the job is to find, find a generous interpretation of the traditions... I'm not just totally re embracing the traditional, but  there is just so much to learn from
