How to Tell Important Stories in a Meaningful Way
True crime is not only oversaturated, but over sensationalized. It even crosses lines into trauma porn all too often. Netflix chooses to walk the fine line of voyeurism of killers under the guise of trying to understand a monster when they portray murderers. Sometimes they're careful, and other times they play jump rope with that line and don't seem to give two shits about who they hurt in the process.
