How Do You Edit Your Audio Book?
One thing is definitely pacing. You need to make sure your pacing is appropriate for when you're reading. People often go away too fast and then your listener can't keep up, or they slow it down to a pace that people will bump up their audio book speed to like, two times normal speed because they don't like how slow narrators read. Do you really have to find that sweet spot of your pacing and what sounds comfortable there? How is this book getting edited? Are you doing it, or is somebody else doing it? Because that completely gets overlooked. I overlooked that when i first got into this business. Didn't know what i was doing.
