How I Changed My Mind About Starting a Company
Frank Centric: My mental model of what started being a company was like, basically looked at a whole bunch of academic analogs or various people. But with a little bit more chewing and developing on it, it became too things became clearer. The plan was absolutely to involve other competent people rather than just try to cash in on whatever this pretty good piece of work could be built into. It wasn't just a shiny, dubbed version of the code base. It was SQL wrapped around a thing, which is many orders of magnitude more relevant than fantasy, shiny engine. That's how we started.
