Antibiotic Resistance - Is Phages an Alternative Treatment?

Antibiotic resistance is where bacteria become immune to treatments. In 2019, 2 million people across the globe died from an antibiotic infection that could not be treated. Phages are a virus or viruses that specifically infect bacteria. They do it in a highly specific way so each individual bacterial species will have phages that only infect it. We want to find out if phages might be an alternative treatment for some infections.
