Different Opinions on Ontology

Everybody likes to have a different opinion on things. So I can't imagine, at least having been in the theological world, this song, that people don't have different opinions on this. What are some of the positions and thoughts that are being put out there in society as a whole? Yeah, I think probably the historically predominant one is that we are not embodied. We are just souls. The other side would be, and there are Christians who affirm versions of this would be that I'm merely material.
