The Different Types of Cardiomyopathy
Many genes have been identified that are associated with dilated cardiomyopathy. Cardiomyri is the reference standard for quantification of LV dilation and dysfunction. Ancient novela regurgitation can occur secondary to ventricular remodeling. Contros enhanced cardiomyri detects complicating thrombi. Late gadolinium enhancement may not be visible at MRI in many patients with dilatedCardiomyopathy, but when it is seen like a linear mid-wall-stripe pattern of LGE, particularly in the septum, is a poor prognostic indicator.
