Since the 1930s, the gender ratio of multiple sclerosis has been increasing. This is not a genetic condition because genes don't change in a population over a few decades. That hasn't changed more for one gender than the other. It is stress. Women have always said they're all being emotional shock absorbers of their families,. including their spouses. So that's a gender role dictated by a certain patriarch of the view of women's position. There's also a lot in here about understanding that the political systems we live in are having a huge impact on our mental health.
