Brandon is a power gamer who tries hard not to let it ruin things. It's very hard for him to not look at a syste of rules and say, there's the corner case they didn't consider that works better than they think. For instance, undead skeletons. That 50 gold investment can turn into quite a bit of money. You don't know what you're doing. And so necromancers are like us. This is a renewable resource that we are just throwing away and making no use. The ancient elf, i would actually have put as lawful neutral. Probably he had his evil moments. He wasn't really evil. He was just a necromancer.
