Is There a Brain Damage in Woodpeckers?

Birds are just a lot smaller than humans, and they just can't withstand higher shocks. The birds still have some safety margin before they would get any damage to their brain. At the first u.N. Ocean conference five years ago, an ambitious target was proposed to map the entire sea floor by 20 30 million square kilometers. Just shy of 25 % of that's being completed, with the data uploaded now into the public domain.
