How Do They Sting Corals?
Jellyfish are armed with a battery of stinging cells. They inject venom into prey items, paralyze it and then consume it. Stings can be more severe in sensitive areas such as the skin on your wrist. But they also use them to protect themselves against neighbouring corals that are trying to encroach on their area.
