Tim goldmin goldman arrived at florence in normandy with his friend. As soon as they pulled up, there were 35 police officers on the sene and nearly 200 angry resss. Commanding officer michael molan from the 70 seventh street station arrived at the scene to find his officers being pelted with wooden boards and chunks of concrete. They didn't have riot gear, no helmets, no bullet proof vests, no face shields. He later said he was worried they might have to use deadly force the crowd.
