Is There Never a Bad Time to Get on the Path to Financial Independence?
The financial independence movement is never about 22 year olds getting it perfect from the outset or 18 year olds like if that was it we'd all wrap up shop. It's a mathematical equation which is really liberating I mean as you know we've seen people get started in their 40s and 50s and succeed wildly. If you save 50% of your income you're going to reach fine and 14 to 17. So there's just so much power in that to me but it had never occurred to me that that was kind of the way that people think about it because I found an internalized the messaging so early that it's just a math problem.
