The BRI and the Second Round Pick Exceptions
There is a new exception, which I think should have been in the CBA way before this. A second round pick can be signed to a three year contract. It's not the rookie minimum, you could still actually sign for the rookie minimum. So there is a mechanism to pay players kind of more than they quote unquote have to be making in that first year.
