The Economics of Nuclear Is Not Too Bad
The politics of nuclear, given the time scales, you just can't get away a bunch of nuclear reactors in a five year period. It's very hard to maintain public support over the 10 to 15 to 20 year planning horizons there. So that's a fundamental problem. The economics of nuclear are actually, you know, they're not too bad. Yes, it's getting more expensive. But, um, I think, and again, to your point of the power sector is complicated. Decarbonizing the last 10, 20, 30% of the powersector gets very hard.
