Karl wilson happened to tweet a cover of an oliviaNewtonJohn's song that was really beautiful and sent me down a little rabbit hole. It was by juliana hatfield, a beloved ind singer, song writer. And unbeknown to me, in 20 18, just a few years ago, she came out with an entire record of olivianewtonjohn covers. She doesn't mess with them that much. Obviously, she changes the instrumentation, et cetera, but she's not trying to do some ind emo take on them
