Immigration and the Tenderloin District in San Francisco
A story out of San Francisco shows you how absolutely broken, not just our immigration policies might be, but how broken our politics are surrounding the issue. So a little over two weeks ago, on October 5th, there was a radio station in San Francisco that was interviewing the town's mayor,. A woman named London Breed, who by the way is a progressive Democrat. The radio hosts were criticizing her for allegations that San Francisco's police officers were racially targeting drug dealers and their illegal Hondurans. She said she looked forward to traveling to Central America to better appreciate the poverty driving people to our country, leaving them with no option but to sell drugs.
