Alonso and Verstappen in the Spanish Grand Prix

Carlos Sainz would have taken a miraculous pole position ahead of Lando Norris and Pierre Gers-Lee at the Spanish Grand Prix. That is a very good top three however no conversion as Hamilton would have had a comfortable win with Russell in P2. Alonso closes the gap to 28 points to Alonso so Alonso's fighting himself in this championship but of course that's 28 points Hamilton is is behind Alonso now so nearly within a race win. Nick Hockberg would have been on pole which I think is absolutely worth all our imagination that we've been using to really sort of generate this is a real thing then he'd have lost it with a grid drop.
