Protein is a big umbrella term because there's 20 amino acids. There's nine essential amino acids, which we can only get through the diet. If you were to look at something like hemp protein and it says 20 grams of protein, you probably want to cut that in half. Because of the amino acid discrepancies, you're probably looking at the body recognizing about 10 grams of protein.
