A 54 Year Old Woman With a Lung Mass and Brain Metastases
A 54 year old never smoker, a mother of three three children including one with special needs who presented with bone pain fatigue and weight loss. She had a mass in her lung and metastases to a liver and bone but not brain. A biopsy showed an adenocastinoma consistent with a lung primary which was positive for alk by immunohistochemistry and fish so she commenced law latinib at a dose of 100 milligrams every day.
