The History of Iran
Iran was also known as Persia. It's an historic region of southwestern Asia that is kind of located where Iran is now. The first mention occurs from an Assyrian king back in 844 BCE. Many people think that Iranians or people from Iran are Arab. They are not. And they may speak Arabic, but if they did, they learned it as a foreign language.
