I was a terrible high bar squatter. My strength went up 50% by shifting to that low bar position. Do you find women who have never done this kind of intimidated by the idea of that big 45 pound Olympic bar going on their back? Heck yes. It is intimidating. I think if you've not done that before, it looks really scary. And I think people's like fear is that the bar's going to come down on top of them and turn them into a pancake.
