Is Montaigne an Example of a Softer, Gentler Sceptic?

There's a reason that people are wrestling with doubt. And, you know, if they're paying attention, then it's like what media sourcs. So in a lot of ways, it kind of feels like we have to whether or not we are ultimate sceptics - which there's a lot of reasons not to be. It may be not particularly helpful for a time in history when clearly things need to change and we still also have to get better at practising what it means to be sceptical. But heres here's some things i've seen, and i'm just going to talk about myself and what i've seen all over the world.
