In 18 54, the neighborhood of soho in london was hit with a terrible cholera outbreak. A man named john snow figured out that it was not contracted through the air, but through water amination. Back then, you got your water from the neighborhood pump, and there was one every few blocks or so. In today's city planters are invested in the 15 minute city in part to create equitable access to amenities. But j argues not all urban modern conveniences feel the same to all citizens.
