The State of Social Media Censorship in the US
I wish we had more competition Jeremy. The problem is when you just have one dominant player in a particular space like Twitter, and there's nothing else close to it, then you get all this political pressure. Whenever you have something that has a public utility or monopoly feature, governments are going to be drawn to that. And I think that can become problematic. There's a long tradition in computer science goes back at least to Alan Turing and the Turing test and the way the Turing test has been interpreted. That computer science has been fascinated by replacing people, right? And there's plenty of science fiction stories, many of them dystopian about that.
