The Theological Story of Our Body

Our bodies tell a story of something that was apart and needs to be put back together. Whether or not we ever have sex, our bodies are sexed that way. Christian teaching says that points towards a union that God wants with us. Jesus does not accept the normalization of our fallen humanity. He just doesn't do it. His redemption is all about getting us back to the way that we're created. Re-creation, redemption. Whole, connected and union with him.
