John wingase was found in the crawl space of a house he shared with his ex-partner. He is believed to have killed at least five other people that same year, including two young men who had been involved with gasey. Gasey's victims were all under age 18 and included both male and female students from chicago universities as well as members of the armed forces. One victim told police about being pulled over by gasey for 'torture' but it turned out to be nothing more than an elaborate ruse. The killer then went on to kill another man after raping him before shooting him dead using a Russian roulette gun.
