Is There a Better Framework for Bishops?
I think a better framework is obviously for both people to get a witness. I definitely think so when it's a high demand calling, because I have worked with so many couples where the husband takes on the calling of being the bishop. And you know, in these cases often they're like, look, God wants me to do this. And so you just have to deal. So we want to serve in the church, but these shouldn't interfere with our larger commitments.
