CNN.com spoke to the author about his new book, "The Deathly Hallows: Part 1" The novel is set in New York City and follows a group of friends as they navigate their way through life's ups and downs. Author says he was inspired by Tristram Shape-Powers' idea that we can't just have on the surface and not have above or be - it has to be both.
