This is the some of the best alignment news that I've seen in the last year, at least. And it only solves for this one narrow problem - how do you make sure your system is being trained to optimize for a metric that is aligned with human values? So yeah, very, very cool, very exciting and nice to see anthropic doing doing the good work on that front.
