According to Jewish law, it is absolutely prohibited for Jews to go anywhere on the Temple Mount. A synagogue is holy and that means that a synagogue is not your playground. When a Jewish man marries a Jewish woman, he says, Hari at Mikudesha Slee, you are now consecrated to me. Consecrated means prohibited to everybody else. The more holy something is, the more restricted it becomes. But holiness does not translate in our religion to accessibility or sovereignty, if anything just the opposite.
