The Lara Croft Go Game: A Fixed Camera Perspective

A fixed camera angle allows for a lot of nice level design things you can do. The way that it combines with the level design to frame things in different ways creating tense short horizon areas as well as dramatic vistas is really fun and I can't think of another 3D game that works this way. We didn't want to have visual or virtual controls for the mobile version we wanted to have something where you directly interact with the rider so the system we had is pretty much what our current mouse controls are, depending on the distance between your finger and the rider you can accelerate or break.
