You Know, I'm Not Here to Convert You, You Know?
I think that this process has to be communal rather than, as everything you're saying. You know, the practice is relationship making and being in communion with other people. To commit yourself to that sort of growth through conversation and through relationships is an incredible practice - especially at this time. Then you defy the odds because then you'll notice what newspapers are saying. The more diverse those spaces are, the better. Really hearing from other voices and seeing how that changes who you are. That's the area of growth and it's very available to people.
