Having Large Brains Is a Good Idea, Right?

One theory is that once we started standing on two feet bipedalism, it produced evolution that constricted the opening of the pelvis. And hence, the evolutionary adaptation was to be delivered very, very, very prematurely so that we required a much longer time to fully develop our brains. The model animal I use in my cognitive science work as a deer, white-tailed deer. They have not been under evolutionary pressure for really large brains either. So maybe that is the causal factor of this very long learning process, which is interesting.
