The Senate Filibuster Is a Fool's Game
The Senate is no longer a geographic institution, meaning Southern Democrats and Southern Republicans aligned against where you have Rockefeller and West Virginia. There's much more partisan alignment than there was. And the legislative process itself is broken in that there's no real giant committee process. It's not just the argument that the filibuster will go away when McConnell wants it to go away because that's not the Senate.
