Film Review - Tarr

I really wanted to like Tarr because I think there are interesting things going on in it. It's very, very verbose and almost painfully aware of the discussions that it's having. There is an awful lot of just simple discussing the things straight out. The film takes its time with long, long scenes which actually feel like they're saying to you, look how long we're doing this. And then I'm not sure that it then manages to move much beyond that.
