Glaucomflekin is an actual ophthalmology term, and it has to do with angle closure glaucoma. When I chose that word, I was just trying to come up with the most ridiculous word in ophthalmology. We met in college at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Kristen Flannery went into gifted education before becoming a doctor.
